White Peach Sangria Recipe
Serves: 4–6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 2–4 hours
Ingredients:
1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio work well)
2–3 ripe white peaches, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
½ lemon, thinly sliced
¼ cup peach schnapps, elderflower liqueur, or Grand Marnier
1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup (optional, to taste)
1–1½ cups sparkling water, club soda, or prosecco (added just before serving)
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Ice, for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the fruit: Wash and thinly slice the peaches, orange, and lemon. No need to peel the peaches—just remove the pits.
Mix the base: In a large pitcher or glass jug, combine the sliced fruit with the white wine and liqueur. Stir gently to mix. Taste and, if needed, add honey or simple syrup for added sweetness.
Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (up to 12). This allows the flavors to infuse and the fruit to soften.
Add bubbles: Just before serving, stir in the sparkling water or prosecco for a touch of fizz.
Serve: Pour over ice into wine glasses or tumblers, making sure each glass gets a few pieces of fruit. Garnish with mint leaves for a fresh pop of color and aroma.
Why You'll Love It
This sangria captures everything wonderful about summer in a glass: light, fruity, refreshing, and easy to sip. It pairs beautifully with summer salads, grilled dishes, or even as an aperitif before a backyard dinner.
Tip: Want to make it stronger? Add a splash of brandy. Prefer it alcohol-free? Use white grape juice and sparkling water with fresh fruit for a mocktail version.
